Rat Guardian

The City of Grace is inherently magical. Most residents are not aware of this.

There is an old saying in Grace that for every resident, there is a rat.

Nowadays, this is used as a warning, or a topic when talking about how far things have degraded from some fantasy of Glory Days.

What it actually refers to is quite literal. For every Resident, there is a Rat.

Each and every man, woman, child or none of the above has a Rat assigned to them. A guardian spirit in rodent form who seeks only their happiness.
